Prepare your mind for action,
And being sober-minded;
Look towards revelation,
Let not yourself be blinded.

Set your hope fully on grace,
Brought to you by Jesus Christ;
Obedience in this place,
That you not to be enticed.

Be not conformed to passion,
Of your former ignorance;
But of spiritual fashion,
For blocking your arrogance.

He called you to be holy,
Be holy in your conduct;
Being humbled and lowly,
The ways that God did instruct.

Call upon Him as Father,
Who judges impartially;
Your deeds will go farther,
Revering spiritually.

For you know you were redeemed,
Ransomed from futile way;
No longer will you be blasphemed,
That your former self did stray.

For the precious blood of Christ,
Like a lamb without blemish;
Because He was sacrificed,
To eternally cherish.

He was before the foundation,
Manifested of the earth;
Forming a new creation,
In giving us a new birth.

For through Him are believers,
God had raised Christ from the dead;
Your faith makes you receivers,
Salvation from His blood shed.
