To meet trials of any kind,
Count it as joy from temptation;
Do not let it play with your mind,
That turns into a vexation.

Testing of your faith makes patience,
And produces a steadfastness;
That is assisting your conscience,
And rebuilding your faithfulness.

Let patience have its full effect,
So, you won’t be lacking nothing;
For being complete and perfect,
Satisfaction that brings something.

If anyone lacking wisdom,
Ask God to give generously;
Which has been stored in His kingdom,
And reward you vigorously.

Asking and you shall then receive,
Without reproach will be given;
If you have the faith and believe,
Living eternally in Heaven.

The waves of the sea like a doubt,
As driven and tossed by the wind;
No direction to turn about,
Man is unable to rescind.

Let not anyone ever think,
Receiving something from the Lord;
A double-minded man would sink,
Unstable if He is ignored
